School Resource Officer Assignments
School Resource Officers are assigned to the various schools in the Pulaski County School District. All Schools do not have a SRO assigned to them. School Resource Officers are assigned as described below.
The Somerset Police Department has assigns School Resource Officers to the following schools:
NORTH DISTRICT
SOUTH DISTRICT
While officer's may function in all the above schools, these are the primary schools to which they are assigned to, with the goal of the program, having the officer mainly in the middle schools.
Deputy Kenny UpChurch of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department is now assigned to Southwestern High School as a fulltime SRO beginning August of 2005.Deputy UpChurch brings 25 years of law enforcement experience to his role of School Resource Officer at Southwestern High School.
