Contacting the School Resource Officer


This page is for the staff of the Pulaski County School System regarding the contacting of the School Resource Officers. There are a number of ways to contact the School Resource Officer, the most common route to contact the officer is thru the front office of your respective schools.

Both School Resource Officers have both cell phone and radio communication with the various schools to which they are assigned. Officer's may also be contacted thru this web-site or by calling the Somerset Police Department (M-F- 7:30am to 3:30pm), or after-hours through dialing 911 or if outside of Pulaski County by calling 606-679-3200. If you need to contact the School Resource Officer at Southwestern High School, call 606-678-9000 or the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department 606-678-5145 or 911.

Reporting Criminal Activity:

Staff should feel free to report any criminal activity that they become aware of to the School Resource Officer. Staff should follow their respective school policy for reporting indictments that occur during the school day. Other incidents, such as information regarding people involved in criminal activity may be report to the SRO directly and the staff may remain anonymous in reporting such information. All information received will be forwarded to the proper authorities.
