Community Works Program

    This program has be carefully reviewed by the School Resource Officer Program. While the program is Nationally acclaimed, and some success has been documented, the decision has been made to discontinue this program as a form of  diversion for students that have experienced various problems in the schools. The program will be taught as a part of the 2004-2005 Student Police Academy. Our belief is that this program, while diverse in it's nature, is best used in a group that has demonstrated a willingness to become involved in their community. This program may be taught in the classroom (s) during the future in middle and high school grades if there is enough interest shown by teachers.

    This program may be implemented in parts during the school year, as the need for instruction in specific areas are required. Teacher that wish to review this material, may either view, TCC's web-site or may contact the School Resource Officer assigned to their school for further information.
